Ethiopian Shabbat

On Friday, June 22, we partnered with OneTable to host an Ethiopian Shabbat dinner. Realizing that many Jewish millennials aren't active in the Jewish community, OneTable encourages young people in their 20s and 30s to come together on Friday nights to celebrate Shabbat. Their app makes it easy for anyone (Jewish or not) to find a Shabbat dinner to attend. For our dinner, OneTable subsidized the tickets for 40 lucky ducks. Everyone had a great time learning about both Ethiopian and Jewish cultures!
